My Green Eyes
By Bozena Helena Mazur-Nowak ****
I will call your name and
will run barefoot your way,
wearing a scarlet wedding dress
and a necklace of dewdrops on my neck.
My ebony hair will flow,
caressed gently by the wind.
At the crossroads
I will be waiting for you,
my sensual lips will whisper spells,
and trembling body hungry of
your impatient hands.
My foggy green eyes,
my heart so full of love
are already yours, my beloved.
Hear me as I cry your name
Fly to me like a bird across the sky
Be delighted with what you see.
And then just Us together in awe
